"I originally got into agriculture at another university, but I’d heard that DiGS (Diploma in General Studies) and Dookie was a great experience. I thought it would be a good chance for me to learn and be in the farm environment, in a close cohort, and experience the things in my text book in real life," says Ruby.
“I decided to go with the Diploma in General Studies because it would be a stepping stone to a university degree,” says Michael. “It was the best decision of my life.”
“Environmental sustainability, I believe, is the cornerstone of the future of agriculture. Without proper sustainable practices, and with climate change, agricultural yields will not be able to properly supply food to the world and fulfil nutritional requirements for a healthy population,” says Emily.
