Hansen Scholarship Program Information Session

The Hansen Scholarship Program is our most generous scholarship, offering 20 exceptional students from around Australia free accommodation at Little Hall, a living allowance, financial support, and personal and academic mentoring throughout your undergraduate degree at Melbourne.

Applications for the Hansen Scholarship Program open in term one of Year 12.

Current Year 11 students and their families are invited to join us at this online information session to learn more about this scholarship program about how to start preparing a competitive application. Find out about the eligibility criteria, full benefits, and how this program will support you to unleash your ambition.

Eligible applicants will be:

  • Australian citizens, permanent residents, or asylum seekers
  • Studying an Australian Year 12 qualification or the International Baccalaureate
  • Aged 16-20 in the year of application
  • Be on track to achieve an ATAR of 90.00 or higher (or IB equivalent)
  • Able to demonstrate financial need.

How to register

  1. Create a UniMelb Account
    This will give you access to not only our events platform but UniMelb On-demand, a suite of pre-recorded videos for you to explore and learn more about Melbourne. If you've already created an account, simply log in and book your event.

    Top tip: don't forget to tick to receive marketing communications in your sign-up, so we can continue to send you invites to future student events like this as well as other timely information.

  2. Check your email
    You'll receive a UniMelb Account confirmation email with a link to access the event platform.
  3. Book your event
    Once logged in, find your event and book your place. On the day of the event, you can access your join link either on your dashboard or in your schedule.
