We welcome requests from schools for on-campus visits, school-based visits and online presentations in 2026.

On-campus visits
For Parkville campus bookings, please note that there is limited venue availability during Semester 1 2026. We will make every effort to accommodate your requested time slot and send you a confirmation email once a venue has been secured for your visit.
For Southbank campus bookings please specify if your request is for a presentation and/or tour.
You come to us
The University of Melbourne is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable campus experience for schools and students, in order to do so we ask schools to follow our booking guidelines:
- School engagements are offered to students in Years 10, 11 and 12 only
- A minimum of six weeks’ notice is required for booking requests
- On-campus visits are limited to 100 students. Requests for larger groups will be reviewed individually
- Changes may be required due to the limited availability of suitable venues as priority is given to current students for lectures. If required, we will notify you in advance to provide alternative options or dates.
Presentation and Parkville campus tour
Presentations are delivered by staff from the Future Students team and provide an overview of the University, course information, entry requirements, scholarships and Access Melbourne. Tours are led by current student ambassadors or may be self-guided (maps provided).
Duration
45-minute presentation and 45-minute campus tour (90 minutes total).
When
Mondays: 10-11.30am and 1-2.30pm
Wednesdays: 10-11.30am and 1-2.30pm
Thursdays: 10-11.30am and 1-2.30pm
(Tours are subject to venue capacity and availability).
Parkville campus tour only
Take a tour of the beautiful Parkville campus led by current student ambassador, or schools may do a self-guided tour with maps provided.

Duration: 1 hour
When: Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm
Southbank campus tour
Visit our Southbank campus, home to the Victorian College of the Arts and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
Duration: up to 90 minutes, depending on activity
When: Monday to Friday, subject to availability.
Indigenous student consultations
Sessions with staff at Murrup Barak – the Melbourne Institute for Indigenous Development, can be organised for prospective students to find out more about the support services and programs available at Melbourne.
Online presentations provide schools with an opportunity to engage with the University of Melbourne without the need for travel, and greater flexibility with scheduling.
Types of presentations
Our virtual presentations can be customised by length and topics covered. Tailored content can include:
- Admissions information relevant to your school (Access Melbourne eligibility, curriculum-based entry requirements, international student entry requirements, scholarships)
- Discipline-specific information
- Q&A student panels with current Melbourne students.
Invitations to attend school expos and deliver presentations on-site at your school are welcomed.
School engagements are offered to students in Years 10, 11 and 12 only.
Our team attempts to prioritise events during peak periods that are:
- Scheduled between 9am - 5pm on weekdays
- Attended by Year 11 and 12 students
- No longer than 3 hours in duration.
Melbourne School Enrichment Program ambassador presentation
Only available to Melbourne School Enrichment Program schools.
A UniMelb student from your local area will deliver a presentation suitable for Years 10, 11 and 12. They will explain how they chose their course, what research they did when looking at universities, a typical day at UniMelb and how they made friends. This presentation does not contain course or application specific information but puts a personal face to making the transition from high school to university.
