The University of Melbourne is Australia’s leading public research university, attracting more than 60,000 students from 160 countries each year. Established in 1853, it has grown to become an international leader in research, learning and teaching.
Melbourne is one of the safest and friendliest cities in the world to live, work and study. Many of our Latin American students get involved in our great community by joining student clubs, participating in music, cultural and sporting events, or indulging in the array of international cuisines. There is a large Latin American community in Melbourne, so you can feel assured that you will feel at home.
Ranked #1 in Australia, #33 in the world, and #8 globally for graduate employability, fourteen of our subject areas rank among the top 20 in the world.

Zoe is a storyteller, brand ambassador, creative and CX specialist with over 10 years' experience in higher education. With a background in creative arts and business, she loves finding new and dynamic ways to share the Melbourne experience with students from all over the world. Zoe leads offshore student recruitment operations at the University of Melbourne and also focuses on supporting students in Europe and Latin America. Her passion is helping students to find the right course fit for them. She's a fantastic listener, knows the University of Melbourne inside-out, provides excellent advice and loves talking to prospective students and their families! In her spare time, Zoe can be spotted at Fashion Week, cuddling her Bernese Mountain Dog, Pharrell, falling off her skateboard or practising her abysmal but enthusiastic French and Spanish (tiene un largo camino por recorrer hasta que domine con fluidez, ¡pero la práctica hace al maestro!).
