Scholarships for students from Vietnam
Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship
Awarded to high achieving international students in recognition of their excellent academic results.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants need to:
- have undertaken the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, GCE A Levels or Vietnamese High School Diploma in Vietnam
- have received an unconditional offer for an undergraduate program at the University of Melbourne
- have not previously undertaken any tertiary studies

Vietnam Gifted High School Diploma

Achieve a final Year 12 GPA of 9.8 and a SAT score of at least 1550 | 50% fee remission scholarship, valid for the duration of the undergraduate degree |
Achieve a score of 9.9 and a SAT score of at least 1550 | 100% fee remission scholarship, valid for the duration of the undergraduate degree |
GCE A Levels
The University will determine your eligibility based on the average score (Percentage Unit Mark (PUM)) achieved across the best three A level subjects. For example, a score of 3A* where the PUM is 97%, 96% and 95%, the average mark is 96% and a 50% scholarship will be awarded.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

Achieve a score of 45 | 100% fee remission scholarship, valid for the duration of the undergraduate degree |
Conditions
This scholarship will be awarded in the form of tuition fee deduction. The scholarship cannot be deferred to a later offer year or study period.
Application process
Students who have received an unconditional course offer will be automatically considered for this scholarship.
Trinity College Foundation Studies
Graduates of Trinity College Foundation Studies may be eligible for the below:

Final score of 99% | Guaranteed a 50% fee remission scholarship, valid for the duration of your undergraduate degree |
Final score of 100% | Guaranteed a 100% fee remission scholarship, valid for the duration of your undergraduate degree |
Trinity College Foundation Studies Academic Excellence Scholarship
Vietnamese students who wish to commence Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS) with outstanding Vietnam Gifted High School Diploma Year 11 and Year 12 results will be considered for the University of Melbourne-TCFS Academic Excellence Scholarship.

Achieve a final Year 11 or Year 12 GPA of 9.0 or above | you will be considered for a 25-50% fee remission scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded in form of fee remissions for the second semester tuition fees. |
Terms and Conditions
There is no separate application required to apply for these scholarships, you will automatically be considered based on final academic results supplied with their course application.
These scholarships cannot be deferred to a future intake.
