Applications

Once you have applied for a residential place at International House, you can apply for an International House scholarship. There are scholarships available to both new and returning undergraduate students.

Unless otherwise noted, applications are made using the application form below. The closing date for entrance scholarship applications is 4 January 2023.

List of scholarships for new undergraduate students

  • Domestic student from regional Australia, studying Commerce at the University of Melbourne
  • Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS), financial disadvantage
  • Awarded with the University of Melbourne Faculty of Business and Economics.
Dawn Wade$22,500 each year, three-year accommodation fee scholarship
  • Entrance domestic undergraduate student from Western regions of Victoria with financial need.
Weickhardt Academic Performance$7000, one-year accommodation fee scholarship
  • Entrance domestic undergraduate student at the University of Melbourne with the highest school-leaving results (ATAR).
Vi and Pete Peterson$14,000, one-year accommodation fee scholarship
  • International undergraduate student
  • Demonstrates:
    • Financial need
    • Academic performance
    • Potential community contribution.

Richard Cullen and Siu-Kuen Chan

$7000, one-year accommodation fee scholarship
  • International undergraduate female student, from China (including Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan)
  • Demonstrates:
    • Financial need
    • Academic performance
    • Potential community contribution.
Mavis Jackson Academic Potential $5000, one-year accommodation fee scholarship
  • Entrance international undergraduate student with the highest academic performance for school leaving results (ATAR equivalent).
MM and RR Officer$22,500, one-year accommodation fee scholarship
  • Domestic or international undergraduate student; demonstrates financial need.
