The Lofts at Melbourne Connect

Our newest graduate accommodation will offer you an affordable and sustainable home, located in Melbourne Connect. Melbourne Connect will be a collaboration precinct, designed to bring together highest calibre industry, researchers, entrepreneurs, and thinkers.
Your new home offers:
- 527 beds
- a central location metres from our Parkville campus and in the centre of the Melbourne Innovation District
- close proximity to the popular food and shopping district of Lygon Street
- access to support services, including an alumni career skills and employability program
- a place to stay for visiting academics and fellows.
If you submit a first preference for The Lofts at Melbourne Connect, the application fee will go towards your rent once you move into the residence.
Looking for a place to stay for semester 1, 2021?
You can apply for The Lofts now, and live in University Apartments until The Lofts at Melbourne Connect are completed and ready for you in Semester 2, 2021.
You'll be placed together with other residents from The Lofts and will continue to enjoy access to the Residential Life Program.
Additionally, you'll enjoy access to the common amenities and facilities available to residents at Little Hall during your stay at University Apartments.
Studio apartments at University Apartments are priced at $390 per-week (for single-occupancy). If your room at The Lofts at Melbourne Connect is priced higher, you will pay the University Apartments rate during your time at University Apartments. If your room at The Lofts is priced lower than $390 per-week, you will continue to pay the lower room rate during your stay at University Apartments.
When we open The Lofts, we'll assist you to move your belongings from the temporary accommodation to your new room.
