Admission criteria
To be considered for entry into this course, you must have:
- An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a directly related discipline, AND
- At least six months of documented relevant work or volunteer experience.
You must also submit:
- A 500 word personal statement outlining your motivation for undertaking this course.
Disciplines directly related to this course include social sciences, psychology, and education.
Work or volunteer history relevant to this course may include roles in social work, community service, health, research, policy, government, technical advisory or consultancy.

The Selection Committee may request additional information to clarify any aspect of an application, according to the University’s Academic Board rules regarding selection instruments.
Meeting the published entry requirements for this course does not guarantee selection.
The Selection Committee will also consider your personal statement, and work / volunteer history.
