Where will this take me?
This course is designed for classroom teachers who wish to have a better understanding of the needs of students with specific learning disabilities who have been placed in their classrooms.

You'll graduate as a highly-valued educator with the ability to perform intervention-based learning for students.
The course will prepare you to:
- identify strategies and evidence-based interventions for students with a range of specific learning difficulties
- discuss the cognitive and affective processes involved in learning numeracy and fluent reading
- understand the nature and cause of specific learning difficulties and how to communicate this to other teachers, parents and students.
After successfully completing this course you may be eligible for 50 credit points towards the Master of Learning Intervention and other master courses.
