Associate Professor Shuanming Li

Shuanming Li is an associate professor and the director of the Centre for Actuarial Studies. He teaches the Introduction of Actuarial Studies to the first year actuarial students and Life Contingencies students in Master of Actuarial Science. His research focuses on risk theory, stochastic modelling in insurance and finance, reinsurance, and applied probability.

Dr Xueyuan Shane Wu

Dr Xueyuan Wu is a Senior Lecturer in Actuarial Studies and teaches Insurance Risk Models. Dr Wu's main research interests include Matrix Analytic Methods (MAMs) in risk theory, discrete-time risk models, correlated risk models and ruin theory. He is also interested in actuarial statistics.
