Life at Melbourne
With the accolade of one of the world’s most liveable cities, you’ll be in the heart of the buzz that makes Melbourne an exciting place to be. Located on the city side of the University’s Parkville campus, we are just a short walk to the CBD, the famous Queen Victoria Market, and a host of cafes, restaurants, shops, theatres, galleries and bars. Most of our Master of Education students are already working professionals, so we appreciate you'll have to manage a study/life balance. Whilst you’re studying in Melbourne, we ensure a supportive environment for all students and offer a range of enrichment activities, including a student mentoring program, wellbeing services and academic skills support.
Indigenous students
The university has a student-led representative body - the Indigenous Graduate Student Association (IGSA) – who look to support graduate coursework and research students, enable collaboration between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students and staff and encourage potential future Indigenous graduate students.
Meet our alumnus: Edward Strain
Edward enrolled on the Master of Instructional Leadership to give him the tools to effectively lead a school with clarity and knowledge. Since completing the course, he reflects that his experiences were some of the biggest milestones in his professional career.
