    International opportunities

As a student in the MPA, you’ll have the opportunity to study abroad or to focus your studies on global public policy and administration challenges.

You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in an exchange with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Switzerland and the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University in China.

Gain vocational experience while you study

As a student in the MPA, you’ll have the chance to undertake an internship or research project to apply your learning to the industry. These professional development opportunities allow you to build your professional networks and connects you to leading experts in public policy and industry.

    A vibrant university community

The MPA is housed in the Melbourne School of Government, which is situated at the heart of the University’s Parkville campus. The School is home to a number of programs aimed at tackling the key political and governance issues of our time, including the Pathways to Politics Program for Women and the McKinnon Prize in Political Leadership.
