How do I apply?

There are three components to the application process. Applicants must complete components 1 and 2 by the application closing date.

    Upload your portfolio via the supplementary application form

  3. Interview

    Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview as the final component of the application process. For more information please visit Auditions and Interviews.

    PORTFOLIO

    Applicants should prepare and submit:

    • a Statement of Intent
    • a 750–1000 word narrative that addresses the following:
      • Reflect on your personal and professional history. What has influenced your professional growth and has contributed to your decision to apply for this University of Melbourne program?
      • Why do you want to be a producer?
      • What are your long-term professional goals (new directions, opportunities, interests, skills, professional renewal, and work advancement), and how do you think this program would help you to meet them?
      • Relevant artistic and industry experience
GRADUATE ACCESS MELBOURNE

Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) is the University’s equity program for domestic graduate students. Under GAM, specific circumstances of applicants will be considered in relation to admission and bursaries.
