    Overview

Shape the world with innovative teaching insights gained from The Master of Teaching (Primary). This course equips you to become a generalist teacher, with in-depth knowledge in literacy and numeracy. You will be prepared to teach in a wide array of curriculum and subjects areas, and have specialist knowledge in one learning area.

    Extra support

Our teacher candidates are successful because of the extra support and guidance they get when leading a class for the first time.

You will receive ongoing support – unlike any other university – both on campus and while on placement. As you learn, you will be supported by a Mentor Teacher and a Clinical Teaching Specialist.

    Clinical teaching

We’re the only initial teaching degree in Australia to use a genuine clinical framework.

    Internationally recognised academics

We're home to a number of internationally recognised education experts and at the cutting edge of teaching and research.

    Graduate Degree Packages

Secure your place in the Master of Teaching program as a Year 12 student with one of our new Graduate Degree Packages.

Please note: the Commonwealth Government of Australia now requires all students undertaking initial teacher education courses in Australia to pass a literacy and numeracy test.
