Course overview

Overview

The Professional Certificate in Wellbeing Science explores science-based methods of building wellbeing, motivation and performance in organisations.

Embracing positive psychology in the workplace has the capacity to have a huge impact on the life of an organisation and its staff. In this course, you will develop an understanding of the principles of positive psychology, and gain the skills to apply them in a professional setting - particularly in health, education, business and organisational contexts.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for professionals from all career stages, particularly in health, education and business contexts, who want to enhance the experience of staff, clients and people within their organisation. Participants come from a variety of disciplines, meaning you will study alongside a diverse range of peers. The course provides scientifically-grounded approaches to understanding and supporting wellbeing personally and professionally.

International students are welcome to study this course. However, please note that this course is not available to international students who require a student visa to study in Australia as it does not meet the onshore study requirements and it is not registered with CRICOS.

Pathways

Graduates may apply to progress to the University of Melbourne's Graduate Certificate in Wellbeing Science, or Master of Applied Positive Psychology, with advanced standing for equivalent subjects.
