Overview
In this practical course you will explore different styles of leadership, individual capability, ways of combating toxic cultures and learn how theory can be deployed to enhance happiness in an organisation and get the most out of your team.
You will reflect on current trends in positive psychology research and apply contemporary scientific theories to issues of wellbeing in applied settings, and examine how positive psychology interventions and programs are designed, delivered and evaluated.
Course structure
This course comprises two subjects (25 credit points of study), usually over six months part time.
We offer two intakes:
- Start-year (February) intake, which is delivered face to face only. Note: A minimum of 75% attendance at on-campus intensives is required.
- Mid-year (July) intake, which is delivered online only. Note: A minimum of 75% attendance at online intensives is required.
