After completing the Marine Biology major, you’ll be well placed to move into the workforce, further study, or graduate research.
After completing this major you might pursue career paths in marine biology research, fisheries, commercial aquaculture, sustainability, education or tourism.
Employers include Museums Victoria, universities, Wild Melbourne and the Department of Agriculture.
You can complete an honours year in marine biology as part of your Bachelor of Science, or you can immediately move into graduate studies.
If you wish to continue studies at graduate level, this major is a great foundation for the Master of Science (BioSciences).
