Overview

A central player in the act of creating a performance is the designer. Whether it is in the role of set designer, costume designer, lighting designer or sound designer, they play a pivotal and collaborative part in the conception and realisation of a performance.

Alternative graduate pathways

Completing a graduate course after the Bachelor of Design will set you up to become a leader in your field, open up a wide range of career opportunities and increase your earning potential.

Performance Design students can go on to complete the Master of Design and Production – specialisations include Stage Design and Production Design for Screen. They will also be eligible for a range of Graduate Coursework pathways including Master of Film and Television and the Master of Teaching.
