PhD Program overview
The Biomedical Engineering Innovation PhD Program provides you with a training and support framework to complement your PhD. It is a multidisciplinary research training initiative bringing together Biomedical Engineering-themed PhD students, supervisors and alumni across the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct as well as industrial and clinical partners. The PhD program is facilitated by the Graeme Clark Institute and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Melbourne. It is committed to connecting you with other PhD students and clinical or industrial partners, and aims to foster high impact translational research in Biomedical Engineering.
By participating, you can:

- Grow your network and connect with fellow academic researchers, clinicians and industry professionals
- Engage in cross-disciplinary activities and collaborations through panel discussions and seminars

PhD students from all faculties are welcome to join the Biomedical Engineering Innovation PhD Program. To be eligible to participate, you must be a current PhD student researching in a related field with at least one supervisor from the University of Melbourne.
