Overview

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS

In your first semester in the Diploma in General Studies (Extended), you will complete four subjects that will prepare you to succeed at university:

These subjects have been designed to incorporate Indigenous perspectives and apply scientific theories and concepts to a range of real-life situations.

You will build on these skills in your only other compulsory subject, Academic Writing and Communication, an apply them throughout the rest of your DiGS Extended studies, giving you the skills and confidence for you for academic success.

EXPAND YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND WORK-READINESS

After the first semester, DiGS Extended students will complete the same subjects as in the Diploma in General Studies. You’ll choose from a range of subjects in science, business, agriculture and the environments so you can find the right path for your future.

You can explore how businesses make decisions, what makes animals and plants grow and thrive, how a good manager works, ways we can make our lives more sustainable, and more through the following subjects:

Please note:
* You are able to enrol in single subjects
* Subject availability varies according to semester.
