About architectural engineering
Architectural Engineering is a growing profession combining the principles underpinning the provision of infrastructure through engineering with design-based contemporary practice of architecture. It is a highly transferable qualification in the architectural, engineering and structural design of buildings which is internationally recognised. Architectural Engineers think strategically at different environmental and urban scales to design and produce outputs that demonstrate an appreciation of economic, social and cultural issues as well as building systems and materials. They bring a knowledge of current practice-contexts including technological, regulatory and project delivery systems.
