Associate Professor Mohsen Kalantari

Associate Professor of Geomatics Engineering

Mohsen researches the geospatial information value chain, with a focus on capturing fit-for-purpose data, engineering data models for optimised storage and visualisation, and organising and leveraging geospatial data. He’s passionate about the enormous potential of building information modelling and has developed and led research teams both in Australia and overseas. Mohsen is the co-founder of Faramoon, specialists in 3D model generation.

Dr Tharaka Gunawardena

Research Fellow at the Department of Infrastructure Engineering

Tharaka has been a project leader in the ARC Centre for Advanced Manufacturing of Prefabricated Housing (CAMPH) and also the project leader for the Cooperative Research Centres Project (CRC-P) on Advanced Manufacturing of High-performance Building Envelope Systems. He is currently involved in research projects related to prefabricated offsite manufacturing, upcycling and recycling of waste materials, public infrastructure and design of high-rise buildings.
