How to become an engineer

    Standard entry

    1. Undergraduate degree

    First you need to meet the entry requirements for your undergraduate degree. This will vary depending on the engineering specialisation you wish to complete.

    2. Graduate degree

    The Master of Engineering courses also have specific prerequisite and grade entry requirements to be considered for entry. Specifically relevant maths and science prerequisite subjects must be completed with a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 65% or higher.

    Graduate Degree Packages

    The University also offers guaranteed entry to high–achieving domestic and international students who have completed an Australian Year 12 or the IB in Australia based on your ATAR.   More information on Graduate Degree Packages.
