Romian chose Melbourne for its Master of Development Studies program, which was ranked 12th worldwide at the time. One of Romian's most memorable Melbourne experiences was her internship placement with a government department in Victoria. "This opportunity allowed me to gain firsthand exposure to real-world policy and projects. As a student from Indonesia, this was an especially valuable experience, as I learned not only about policies, standards, and project processes, but also experienced a supportive work environment, humble experts, and a technology-driven office setting."
