Professor Richard Eckard
Professor of Sustainable Agriculture - University of Melbourne
Richard's research focuses on sustainable agricultural production, with a strong focus on carbon-neutral agriculture and options for agriculture to respond to a changing climate. He is also a science advisor to the Australian, New Zealand, and UK governments.
Professor Rod Keenan
Chair of Forest and Ecosystem Science - University of Melbourne
Rod has a B. Sc. (Forestry) from the ANU and a PhD in forest ecology from the University of British Columbia. He has undertaken research across Australia, Canada, and Southeast Asia. Rod has worked as a research scientist and science advisor in several Australian states and with the Australian Government as an advisor on forests and climate change.
Dr Carly Green
Managing Director - Environmental Accounting Services
Carly has been involved in global climate change mitigation in the Agriculture and Forestry sectors for over 20 years. Her experience extends through research, government policy advisor, project developer, training facilitator and lead auditor in more than 20 countries. In 2007, she founded Environmental Accounting Services - which supports developing countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Felicity Thomas
Senior Consultant - Environmental Accounting Services
Felicity has a diverse engineering background. She has a PhD in mechanical engineering and enjoys applying her varied skill set to effect positive and sustainable change, especially in agriculture. Felicity is deeply involved in carbon markets and understands the pathways to reward and incentivise farmers to measure and reduce their emissions within the Australian and New Zealand context.
