Getting started with Zoom

On 19 June 2020, the Australian Government announced the Job-ready Graduates Package, proposing higher education funding reforms. This proposal has not yet been approved by Parliament. Should the proposal be implemented it will come into effect from 1 January 2021 and will apply to commencing students on a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP).

Students currently enrolled in a CSP and who first enrolled in a CSP prior to 1 January 2021 will not be adversely impacted. That is, their student contribution fees will not increase as a result of these changes. Current CSP students who enrol in subjects that will have a lower student contribution amount will pay the new lower amount.

The University is working through the implications of the proposal and how it may affect fees for students enrolling in a CSP in future.

Once enrolled, all domestic and international students are bound by the University’s fee policy and procedures, as well as the terms and conditions relating to tuition fees if they are an Australian fee-paying or international student.

Students should be advised to refer to the relevant fee policy, procedures, terms, conditions and fee tables to understand their likely tuition fee commitments in 2021.
