The Melbourne curriculum
Your Melbourne experience is yours to shape. If you’re interested in information technology and computer science, you can start with an undergraduate (bachelors) degree in Design or Science. Over three years, you’ll be able to explore information technology and computer science majors in your bachelors degree while developing a deep understanding in your chosen study area. These include computational biology, computing, computing and software systems, data science, digital technologies, mathematics and statistics or spatial systems.
After your undergraduate degree, you can enter the workforce or progress to a specialised graduate, masters degree.
How to become a data scientist
Become a professionally accredited data scientist by completing an undergraduate degree in science followed by the Master of Data Science. Secure your place in both degrees with a Graduate Degree Package. You’ll graduate with a higher level of qualification than a traditional double degree.
Apply for a Graduate Degree Package through VTAC.
