Hansen Scholars are from diverse backgrounds throughout Australia. You'll form a close bond with your other scholars throughout your degree and the program alumni network will be with you throughout your life. Additional pastoral care will ensure you're supported throughout your studies.
You'll receive an allowance throughout your three-year undergraduate degree to support your living expenses as well as a one-time grant of up to $4000 to support an approved activity for development such as an international exchange, an international subject, an internship or similar role.
You'll benefit from the security of accommodation at Little Hall, ideally located between the heart of Melbourne and our Parkville campus. This is the only residential option covered by the scholarship.
Hansen Scholars who get an ATAR of 99.95 or above and meet the prerequisites and entry requirements will secure a Commonwealth Support Place in your chosen masters before you start your undergraduate degree.

Advancing the future of Australia through access to excellence in tertiary education is one of the Hansen Little Foundation’s core beliefs.
Jane Hansen AO and Paul Little AO believe that an individual’s life trajectory should be guided by their determination to achieve their ambitions, regardless of any limiting social or economic barriers.
