Driving leadership and performance across Asia-Pacific

The University of Melbourne partnered with a global consumer goods organisation to deliver a multi-year executive education program designed to strengthen marketing and customer development capability across the Asia-Pacific region. More than 500 mid-career professionals have been upskilled through culturally responsive, globally recognised professional learning. The initiative has become a cornerstone of the company’s talent strategy, where 87% of participants cited the program as a key reason for recommending the organisation as an employer, contributing to a 12% uplift in team performance across target divisions.

Building treaty-ready capability in government

Working with state government departments, the University of Melbourne co-developed an NDIS-aligned professional learning series focused on positive behaviour support. The program has empowered 1,000 professionals across the social and community services workforce, enhancing communication, collaboration, and decision-making. These improvements have led to stronger workforce engagement, greater consistency across teams, and measurable uplifts in service outcomes for NDIS participants.

Developing purposeful leaders for sustainable growth

Partnering with an international financial institution, the University of Melbourne co-created a leadership and sustainability program for emerging and mid-level leaders. The blended program reached nearly 300 professionals, building confidence, accountability, and leadership capability aligned to sustainable business practices. Participants strengthened their understanding of responsible finance and stakeholder trust, directly supporting the organisation’s vision for leadership grounded in both performance and social responsibility.

Empowering leadership in complex environments

For a national defence organisation, the University of Melbourne designed a bespoke leadership program focused on strategic thinking, systems leadership, and adaptive decision-making. More than 180 defence leaders completed the program, developing critical thinking, collaboration, and agility to lead effectively in high-stakes operational settings. The initiative has directly strengthened leadership pipelines and built the confidence to lead through uncertainty and complexity.

Building analytical capability for national security

In collaboration with a national security agency, we developed a custom program to strengthen leadership and analytical capability across intelligence operations. Over 120 professionals completed the program, advancing their skills in data-driven analysis, strategic foresight, and executive judgement. The program continues to foster informed, agile leaders equipped to manage disinformation and navigate complex global challenges.
