1. Critically review early childhood research and identify relevant issues in the field.
2. Understand the relationship between research questions, literature review, and methodology.
3. Articulate multiple research methodologies in relationship to research questions and literature.
4. Design and implement a self-study research project in early childhood education related to current issues and practices in the field.
