You're considered a domestic student if you're an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or have a permanent humanitarian visa. This applies even if you're studying abroad or have dual Australian citizenship.

Admission criteria

To be considered for entry into this course, you must:

Have completed a bachelor honours degree (AQF8) or equivalent in a cognate (relevant) discipline.

Have completed a Bachelor degree (AQF7) or equivalent in any discipline.

And
Have completed at least 50 credit points, or equivalent, of graduate study in a cognate (relevant) discipline.

Have completed a bachelor degree (AQF7) or equivalent in a cognate (relevant) discipline.

And
Have two years of documented relevant experience.

Cognate (relevant) disciplines include: Education, Teaching (Primary, Secondary, or Early Childhood), Special Education, Educational Psychology, STEM Education, Curriculum and Pedagogy TESOL / Language and Literacy, Educational Leadership or Policy, Social Work (with an education or youth focus), Youth Work or Community Education, Human Development or Child Development, Sociology or Anthropology of Education, Indigenous Education, Learning Design / Educational Technology.

Relevant experience for this course may include (but is not limited to): School settings (Primary, Secondary, Vocational), Early Childhood settings, Special Education, TAFE, Higher Education, Learning Designers, workplace educators, community-based educators, Government education departments, education policy, education technology experience.
