Admission criteria
To be considered for entry into this course, you must:
- Have completed a bachelor degree (AQF7) in a cognate (relevant) discipline with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65% in appropriate subjects, or equivalent.
Cognate (relevant) disciplines include Journalism, Political Science, Media and Communications, Broadcasting and TV Hosting, Radio and Television Science, Digital Media, Professional Writing, Network New Media, Creative Writing.
Or
- Have five years of documented relevant experience which demonstrates the capacity to undertake the course successfully.
Relevant experience for this course may include roles in Journalism. Please note this is not a complete list of possible disciplines and work experience. Relevance is always assessed on a case-by-case basis.
