The Department of Anatomy and Physiology has a rich history of teaching anatomy, dating all the way back to 1862. Teaching in topographic anatomy continues to be a major area of activity, enhanced by our well-equipped dissection facilities and the invaluable educational resources found in the nearby Harry Brookes Allen Museum of Anatomy and Pathology.
