The Master of Landscape Architecture combined with the Master of Urban Planning positions students to be industry ready and have flexibility within the employment market. It gives you the opportunity to express your creativity whilst channelling your social and environmental conscience to improve cities and urban spaces. This program aims to provide you with:
- the skills to design ecologically sound and contemporary landscapes using the latest materials and technologies;
- an understanding of Australian and international policy and planning affecting human settlements;
- the ability to adapt and respond through planning and design to the global changes impacting our cities including climate change, deepening inequality, concerns for community health and safety, and the emergence of city-regions;
- a grounding in the history, theory and technology of landscape architecture, and an in-depth understanding of international landscape architecture contemporary practice leading to the creation of innovative thinking and design;
