Yesha Patel is the founder of After, Australia’s first textile recycling pickup service. Using After’s services, customers can arrange to have their old textiles collected for recycling, and earn rewards in the process from partnered Aussie brands dedicated to sustainability.

Christian Bien Bien co-founded Elucidate, a not-for-profit organisation that supports disadvantaged Australian students with educational resources like an e-learning platform, textbooks, and videos.

"I’m having so much fun along the way, knowing that the work I’m doing is meaningful. My advice is, if there’s a problem that makes you angry and frustrated, do something about it."

Practical skills

Graduates will finish the degree with a strong core knowledge base in business, entrepreneurship and innovation, with a skillset including the following:

  • Solving business issues and entrepreneurial problems through creative and strategic thinking, and through the application of theories, principles and data
  • Making effective decisions in business, entrepreneurship, and innovation by analysing and evaluating evidence
  • Clearly articulating management issues, ideas, theories and solutions to a range of audiences in written and oral form
  • Engaging in ethical and collaborative work practice
  • Conducting research, including accessing information and evidence from a range of sources.
