A defining feature of this degree is the BioDesign Innovation capstone sequence. Working with clinicians and industry mentors, you will:

  • Identify a real clinical need
  • Develop a prototype concept
  • Build a business case and commercialisation plan
  • Plan intellectual property, regulatory and reimbursement pathways.

The existing BioDesign Innovation program has led to many start-up companies, including Navi Medical Technologies, Lenexa Medical and Ventora Medical.
