The Introduction to Forensic Disability subject was previously known as Intellectually Disabled Offenders. It was a post graduate subject that was delivered as part of the Master of Criminology (Forensic Psychology) at a summer school since 1998 by Dr William Glaser. When the Masters program ceased it was decided to offer it as part of a two subject Specialist Certificate in Criminology (Forensic Disability).
