Interview dates

2021 Start Year Intake

Interviews will take place Monday 23 – Friday 27 November 2020

Callbacks will take place Monday 30 November and Tuesday 1 December 2020.

Whilst we would love to see you in person, due to COVID-19 restrictions all interviews will be held online this year.

Selection Project requirements

The selection project is due Monday 16 November 2020 and is to be uploaded via the supplementary application form.

Interview requirements

You will be interviewed by a selection panel of at least two staff members, specific to your chosen specialisation. The interview will involve:

  • Discussion of your selection project (your annotated script and the two items you have made in response to the key dramatic moment)
  • Discussion of why you are applying for the course.

All applicants will be required to attend an online interview via Zoom Web Conferencing, and will run for approximately 30 minutes.

You are invited to present examples of previous work that may support your application, for example, art or design folio, paperwork created for productions, lighting plans, photographs of previous shows, etc.

At the completion of the interview, you will be advised if you are invited to progress to the callback workshop stage of the selection process.

Callback Workshop

Callbacks will take place Monday 30 November and Tuesday 1 December 2020.

Shortlisted applicants will take part in an online workshop involving a discussion about a script, group interaction and a written response to a series of questions.
