Graduate Degree Package entry requirements

Discover the six health Graduate Degree Packages available that combine either the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Biomedicine with a professional entry master's level degree in one of three health sciences fields: dentistry, optometry and physiotherapy. With one of these packages, you'll graduate with a higher qualification than a traditional double degree and gain a competitive edge in the workforce.

Package options and entry requirements

These entry requirements apply to domestic students and to international students studying an Australian Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Australia. These packages are not available to other international students.

Progression to graduate degree:

To progress to the Doctor of Dental Surgery you will need to complete the relevant prerequisite subjects on the first attempt and achieve a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80%+. Applicants gaining entry into the Doctor of Dental Surgery via a Graduate Degree Package are not required to sit the Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT) (or equivalent). Students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Biomedicine with the required WAM, including passing all subjects which are prerequisites for the graduate degree on their first attempt, will automatically progress to the Doctor of Dental Surgery.
