- Students majoring in Data Science are eligible for the Master of Data Science with up to 50 points of advanced standing, reducing the course duration to 1.5 years

Progression to masters degree:
- To progress to the Master of Data Science you will need to complete the relevant prerequisite subjects and a major in Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science. There is no minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) requirement in the bachelors degree.
- The Master of Data Science is not available to start mid-year. If you are scheduled to complete the undergraduate component of your Graduate Degree Package in the middle of the year, you may need to wait until the start of the following year intake (semester one) to commence the graduate component.
