With this Graduate Degree Package, you'll start with the Bachelor of Science and then specialise and expand your experience at postgraduate level with the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. You'll graduate with a higher qualification than a traditional double degree and gain a competitive edge in the workforce.
Domestic package option and entry requirements

Bachelor of Science + Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Entry requirements:
- 2024 ATAR: 98.50+
- or NZ NCEA (best 80 credits at Level 3): 98
- or GCE A Levels: A*AA
- or International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma: 42

Progression to Doctor of Veterinary Medicine:
This accelerated program enables you to become a qualified veterinarian in just 6 years. Typically, the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is a 4-year degree, but this program offers a streamlined path by granting one year of credit through the completion of Veterinary Bioscience Major within a Bachelor of Science. It also guarantees students a Commonwealth Supported Place in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.
To progress to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students will need to:
- complete the first and second years of the Bachelor of Science, including appropriate prerequisite subjects;
- achieve a minimum Weighted Average Mark of 70% across all Level 1 subjects and 70% across all Level 2 subjects;
- apply for the Accelerated Pathway (Veterinary Bioscience major) at the end of second year of the Bachelor of Science;
- Personal statement to be submitted as well as satisfactory performance in Situational Judgement Test;
- enrol in the Veterinary Bioscience major.

The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is not available to start mid-year. If you are scheduled to complete the undergraduate component of your Graduate Degree Package in the middle of the year, you will need to wait until the start of the following year intake (semester one) to commence the graduate component.

- Indian XII CBSE / CISCE (average of best 4 subjects): 98.5
- Indonesia high school diploma + SAT/ACT: 9.8, SAT 1520/ACT 32
- Indonesia high school diploma + AP: 9.8, AP 19
- Vietnam HS Grad Cert (gifted): 9.8
- Vietnam HS Grad Cert (non-gifted) + SAT/ACT: 9.8, SAT 1520/ACT 32
- Vietnam HS Grad Cert (non-gifted) + AP aggregate: 9.8, AP 19
- US high school diploma + SAT/ACT: GPA 3.9, SAT 1520/ACT 32

- WAM 70%+ (in both Level 1 and Level 2 science subjects, including prerequisite subjects) in order to apply for the Accelerated Pathway (Veterinary Bioscience major) at the end of second year of the Bachelor of Science
