Entry requirements for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
English Language Criteria
Domestic
All applicants must also satisfy the English language requirements of the course.
If applicants have completed a degree that was taught and assessed entirely in English, comprising at least two years of full-time study (or equivalent), they may automatically meet the University’s English language requirements.
Alternatively, these requirements may be satisfied by attaining the required score in an approved English language test. Approved tests include:
IELTS* (academic English Only): 7.0 (written 7.0 with no band less than 6.0)
TOEFL* (internet-based test): 94 + Writing 27; Speaking 18; Reading 13: Listening 13
Pearson Test of English (Academic): 65 & written communicative skill of 65 and no other communicative skill below 50
Cambridge English: Advanced/Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): 185 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill
*Required scores must be achieved from a single test report, even if you have sat for multiple IELTS or TOEFL tests.
