Entry requirements for international students from Indonesia

We accept a range of secondary school qualifications for direct entry to our undergraduate programs, including:

For those completing the Indonesian National Curriculum, you must achieve the minimum overall score in Year 12, achieve a required test score, have completed course prerequisite subjects and meet our English language requirements to be considered for direct entry into a bachelor degree.

For students who do not meet our requirements direct entry to an undergraduate degree, Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS) offers guaranteed entry into the University's undergraduate degrees.

How to apply

Find an authorised education agent

The University of Melbourne offers more than 1,200 scholarships and prizes, including bursaries and grants, for current and commencing students. Many of these are open to international students from Indonesia.

When you apply to the University you will be automatically considered for most of our scholarships; others you'll need to apply for directly. Some are awarded on the basis of academic merit and others are designed to help you with your expenses.

Indonesian students may also be eligible for major government-funded scholarships, including the Garuda Scholarship, Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholarship for graduate study, and Australia Awards Scholarships. Applications for these scholarships are made directly to the funding bodies.
