- Scholarships and future study pathways: A 100 per cent fee remission is available for all successful candidates. Further, students who successfully complete the GCIBL will automatically be offered the Business and Economics Indigenous Graduate Scholarship to study the Master of Indigenous Business Leadership. GCIBL students may be eligible to apply for a place in the Master of Management, Master of Entrepreneurship or Master of International Business and will be eligible for credit into these programs.
What is it about?
Led by a team of Indigenous experts, the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Business Leadership is designed to empower Australian and international First Nations business leaders to navigate their leadership journey while staying true to culture within a colonial system. This course will provide you with the tools to navigate the cultural, community and individual demands of leadership. It is delivered in a safe learning environment, which allows students to delve into issues around culture, trauma and impact of colonialism.
You’ll study three core subjects taught by leading Indigenous academics in the fields of Indigenous business leadership, Indigenous business ecosystems and the Indigenous philosophy of business. Students may also choose an elective subject in analytics, accounting, economics, research, finance or marketing. Students will have the opportunity to collaboratively address the increasing challenges and opportunities in the Indigenous business sector, with a key focus on the practice of Indigenous leadership.
