Course structure

Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Business Leadership consists of four 12.5-point subjects, delivered one at a time over the course of four terms:

  • Three compulsory subjects delivered online, and
  • One elective selected from a range of six online subjects.

The subjects in the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Business Leadership adopt an interdisciplinary, international and evidence-based approach to respond to the complex and growing challenges faced by Indigenous business leaders working in a range of fields/industries.

Subjects can be taken in any order; however, the compulsory subject Indigenous Business Leadership is only offered as an intensively taught subject in the Spring term (October–November).

Notes:

  1. Alumni of the Melbourne Business School MURRA Indigenous Business Masterclass program are eligible for one subject credit.
  2. Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Business Leadership may be eligible to apply for a place in the Master of Management, Master of Entrepreneurship or Master of International Business and will be eligible for credit into these programs.
