Highlights of the Graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy (Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy) experience
Day-to-day experience
You’ll be part of a tight-knit cohort learning through intensive, hands-on teaching blocks led by highly qualified physiotherapists and academic staff. Small class sizes mean you’ll receive close supervision and personalised feedback during practical sessions, helping you build confidence in your clinical skills. Online materials support your learning throughout, and the program is constantly refreshed with the latest research and insights from clinicians working at the forefront of pelvic health.
Learning mode
The course is delivered part-time, designed to fit alongside your professional practice. You’ll engage in a mix of practical workshops, clinical teaching, and evidence-based modules, guided by Masters-qualified APA Titled Physiotherapists, advanced practice clinicians, and recognised pelvic health specialists. You’ll also have opportunities to observe expert clinicians and participate in advanced practical labs, including access to the Medical School’s dissection lab.
Practical skills training covers a wide range of skills including internal examination of the pelvic floor, pelvic floor muscle assessment, and application of internal and external adjunctive therapy in which consenting patient models or students act as subjects for each other.
