Overview

The Master of Physiotherapy (Paediatrics) requires the successful completion of 150 credit points and is a blended program that combines ten fully online subjects with one off campus clinical subject.

What you will learn

As a student of this course, you will interrogate the latest evidence and innovation in the discipline and use this to develop your own clinical practice.

The core subjects explore professional and clinical content in diverse contexts, including complex case management with emphasis on advanced clinical reasoning. This course emphasises linking theory, research evidence and practice utilising research evidence to underpin paediatric physiotherapy clinical practice and decision making. Subjects extend knowledge and understanding and introduce research principles and innovations that are necessary to undertake clinical practice in different environments. In your capstone project, you can choose to undertake either a research project, which involves working within a research team, or a rehabilitation professional project, which involves completing a quality assurance project within your practice context.

You are able to choose from a wide range of elective subjects and scaffold your learning to your particular career goals.
