Overview

The Master of Physiotherapy (Paediatrics) is designed to produce graduates with advanced knowledge and skills for professional practice in Paediatrics. It is targeted toward early and mid-career physiotherapists who wish to further their careers within this clinical interest stream of physiotherapy practice. The curriculum is designed for practicing clinicians, is internationally relevant, and can be studied part or full time.

Course description

The course is a blended program that combines two intensive face to face subjects and nine fully online subjects. This course emphasises linking theory, research evidence and practice utilising research evidence to underpin paediatric physiotherapy clinical practice and decision making. Subjects extend knowledge and understanding and introduce research principles and innovations that are necessary to undertake clinical practice in different environments.  The flexible course structure enables you to personalise your degree by selecting from a wide range of elective subjects that are most relevant to your areas of interest and career goals.

The Master of Physiotherapy (Paediatrics) will support students to strategically align their learning with established competencies required towards industry-recognised paediatric physiotherapy professional titling. Further, this course can be designed to be relevant for the local as well as international context.

Who should apply

This course is designed for currently practising registered physiotherapists, with at least two years of post-qualification clinical experience in the area of paediatrics.
