Dedicated Support for Indigenous Students

The University of Melbourne is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all our students, especially our Indigenous community. We have a student-led representative body, the Indigenous Graduate Student Association (IGSA), which actively supports Indigenous graduate coursework and research students. The IGSA also works to encourage collaboration between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students and staff, and inspires potential future Indigenous graduate students. Furthermore, our Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences has a dedicated Indigenous Support Officer whose sole purpose is to support all current Indigenous students. You can learn even more on our dedicated page.
