Who will you learn from?
The Department of Nursing employs four nurse practitioners, two pharmacists and a pharmacologist. These academics and clinicians from our clinical partners provide the expertise and deliver the Specialist Certificate in Registered Nurse Prescribing. This team also has strong relationships with teaching academics from the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology.
Academics in the Department of Nursing have been teaching content to prepare nurses for prescribing as a nurse practitioner since the introduction of nurse practitioner endorsement in 2002.
